This is a pretty close to being stock 12 hp 28cid Briggs lawn mower engine. This is my first time putting it in a frame and ever starting it. And yea, I painted to. but the plans are to port it, put an 25 cid 11 hp Briggs head on to bump of compression, put an offset flywheel key in to advance the timing, weld the cam lobes up and grind them down for more lift and duration and that's it. I would billet flywheel on, but there way to expensive along with a billet rod. this is for my mower that i mess around with and drive to my friends house on hahaha. But I am building a whole different one for uslmra. and yea I'm aware of the exhaust and there's no air filter. That was the first start, so don't bitch about itmore to come
'The Twins RC Drift Video' was filmed as a favour to two for my mates, who happen to be twins...This track is at Hobby Habit in South Australia. They both bought their Yokomo Drift Packages from there, and are running Yokomo single band drift rings with 17t motors.All the filming was done on one day and editing a couple weeks after. The collection of soapbox cars created for the 2008 Red Bull Soapbox Derby in San Francisco inspired a variety of reactions.Mostly they were oohs, ahhs and cheers as the cars flew down Dolores, powered only by gravity, wind and human willpower...and then they were the crashes!
The Soap Box Derby is a youth program for children ages 8 to 17. Each driver must build their own car, with adult help, to compete in this race. Each racer gets an award just for participating with trophies given out to 1st through 5th place. The 1st place winner in each division gets to go to Akron, Ohio for the All-American Soap Box Derby in July 2008.
